Night Skiing at the Beav

Last night we went night skiing for Grandpa Roundy's ward party. Jaelyn skied once last year and was excited to try it again. She started out with 3 good runs with her dad. When she went into the lodge for a treat, she wanted to take her boots off. Can you guess who got a hold of them.? Mackay--Roger decided to take Mackay up for a run. (We had just planned to let Mac stay in the lodge with grandma and aunt Lo Lo.) He had totally different plans, as usual. He loved skiing and actually started to catch on. Sorry, that the picture's aren't that great. Rog and I just couldn't believe how much Mackay liked skiing. He screamed when we took the ski boots off. Next time we will have to rent 2 sets of skis.

Here is Jaelyn practicing her 'pizza'. She wasn't really interested in 'pizza' or 'pie' she just wanted to , "go fast".

Mackay and Daddy waiting in the line at the lift. When Mackay was riding the lift he would say, "zoom, zoom" and kick his feet. Soooo cute. Roger was in heaven to think that his little boy who isn't even 2 yet is such a daredevil.

Jaelyn and Mackay also had fun sledding while they took a break from skiing. This is a pic of Jaelyn with her aunt Katelyn.

This is just a cute pic of the kids on their way to church last Sunday. Jaelyn is now in sunbeams. She was concerned about going to church and not being able to play with toys, but she seems to enjoy her new class. Mackay is still living it up in nursery. Roger and I think that he is probably the terror of the nursery, but no one has said anything to us and we aren't going to stay and find out :)

The first blog

This is our official first blog. We had a great holiday season and wanted to share some cute pics with everyone. Jaelyn is turning 4 next month and Mackay is turning 2 in a couple of weeks. They are such fun kids. They keep their mom on her toes. Jaelyn is about as sweet as they come. She loves to help and is always pretending. Mackay isn't so sweet :) He is usually very happy, but when he doesn't get what he wants he is a little fire cracker.

This is our feline friend, Alice (yes, Alice in Wonderland). She lives in our garage, but loves to come in the house whenever she gets a chance (especially since it has been so cold). Roger thinks that she is half dog because she loves to roll in the dirt, drink out of the toilet, get into a full bath tub and play with anything that moves. He would never admit it, but he really likes her.

Thanks Grandpa and Grandma Frank

Jaelyn's first attempt at ice skating. She did pretty well. Don't you just love the walker. They have adult sizes if anyone wants to come with us next time.

We love snow. Before Christmas, we wondered
if we would have any of the
white stuff, now we have plenty of it.

Roger made 4 snowmen. One for each member of the family.
Mackay kept giving his snowman a hug.

Mackay wanted to help get the Christmas lights off of the house, but all he really accomplished was making everyone watching him really nervous.

Well, I hope this post works. If it doesn't I may or may not try it again. I hope all is well with everyone.
