Hi Jaelyn and Mackay!!!

We are in Baltimore for a trade show and Jaelyn wanted us to send her a picture of her favorite things in Baltimore - the fountain, and her daddy. She specifically wanted a picture of the fountain with her daddy in the picture. We love you, Jaelyn.

Busy, Busy!

These are my cute parents! They celebrated their 50th Anniversary a couple of weeks ago. Wow! We had a huge luau. Totally not my parents style, but that is why I wanted to do it. It was so much fun. We had Hawaiian drinks, Hawaiian haystacks, pineapple upside down cake and tons of fruit. Rog made a video slide show of their life together (which was so great!) and I had some of our neighbor girls, that take hula lessons, come and dance for us (they are pictured below - aren't they beautiful? the one is white is mine:)
We had family (my parent siblings, kids and grandkids for dinner) and their friends and distant family come for dessert. Here is a table of my nieces. We had the party in my brother's backyard, which was chuck full of shade (which is just what you need in August).
I did a similar luau party for my RS progressive dinner 4 nights after my parent's party. It was fun, but a ton of work. As you have noticed my blogging has been put on the back burner.
So, Jaelyn's bike has been missing for one week. A neighbor kid took it for a ride, and we never saw it again. We found it yesterday 2 blocks away on someones front porch. Good thing we got it back because Jaelyn was ready to ride. Last night she just took off by herself. It was too dark to get video or pictures, so I got these this morning and Grandma's house. She is doing so good. She also thinks that the apron is necessary for riding? My video clip was too big and wouldn't download, but she was already off-roading out into the grass and back onto the sidewalk. Crazy Jaelyn!


Jaelyn also graduated from her swimming class today. We got to watch and she does a really good job. The teachers were so cute, they had the kids line up on the diving board and played the olympic music and gave them each a gold medal. Here is a pic of Jaelyn getting hers.
