I want to update my blog because it has been a while and I need to get rid of the birthday music, but there isn't much going on at my house. My laptop has been on the fritz, so I haven't done a lot with pictures lately.
We have been a little under the weather lately which is normal for this time of year, so nothing too exciting.
Alice is gone. Who knows where she went. I think Rog has an idea but he isn't telling me.
Jaelyn is having some "change" problems. We changed her room (just a little) to get some more storage space under her bed and in her closet. She cried for quite a while to her Dad, "I don't like things to change". Poor girl, she is going to have some trials in her life, because change is the only thing that is constant. She isn't too excited about getting registered for kindergarten, because it is a change. I know she will love it, because she is so smart, it is just talking her into the idea.
Mackay is still all boy. He is speaking in huge sentences which is so fun to listen too. He is getting smart, but he doesn't want to go to school either. I am sure if I tell him that they will watch a 'show' at school that he would go for sure.
Rog and I are still hanging in there with work and callings, but we both have cabin fever right now. We need a vacation to anywhere that is warm.
That is us in a boring nutshell, but I have accomplished my goal to update my blog. Yee-haw.

A Whole Hand!!!
Our princess has turned 5 (or as she would say, "A whole hand"). We should have known from this picture that she would be super girly - holding her dress in such a princess fashion.
Her birthday started out with her Daddy making her breakfast in bed. Like I said before, he is the pancake maker of the family. Thanks Daddy!!!
She got what she wanted.....a Jessie Doll (which was another gift that was not easy to find. I wish my kids would ask for something I could find at Maceys:) - since I am there a lot). She decided to be a Jessie doll herself, with a braid and a yellow bow in her hair.
She had a birthday party with 5 of her girl-friends. They played ring around the rosies, musical chairs, button-button and red-rover. They made princess hats and beat the heck out of a mermaid pinata. The girls were so cute together and we all had a lot of fun.
She got spankings from both Grandpas and her Daddy. This is a tradition that the men don't seem to forget:) And the kids think it is
funny until it's Daddy's turn because he spanks pretty hard.
Happy Birthday, J!!! We love you so much. J has always been such and easy-going, sweet little girl. We can only hope that she continues to have those charactoristics. She is always thinking about her brother and others around her. She is a sweet heart and we are so glad that she is in our little family!! Love ya, J!!
